A major feature of the Section 8 program for landlords is that a majority of assisted tenants remain in one particular unit for a number of years. Assistance helps them stabilize their home environment, which reduces turnover and income loss in a rental unit.

each month all program requirements are met
Housing Assistance Payments are disbursed via direct deposit into your bank account.

If your tenant experiences a decrease in their household income, their assistance
increases so the tenant can afford to stay in your rental unit.
