The Southwind Landing Senior Apartments in Cheektowaga will hold an Open House on Sunday, October 3rd, from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. Located at 5074 Transit Road between Losson Road and Como Park Boulevard, the beautifully-landscaped property features 100 comfortable, affordable one- and two-bedroom apartments for seniors age 55 and up.

According to Site Manager Michele Rogowsky, the event will feature refreshments and tours of the complex personally conducted by Southwind residents. "This gives visitors an opportunity not only to see firsthand both how attractive and well-maintained our building and grounds are," she explains, "but also to personally experience how friendly and welcoming their future neighbors would be."

Rogowsky notes that Southwind Landing - which is both pet-friendly and smoke-free - offers its residents a wide range of amenities, including air conditioning, full-size appliances, a computer center, indoor trash and recycling, well-lighted off-street parking and 24/7 emergency repairs. She adds that the complex's designation as an Erie County Nutrition Program Dining Site also makes healthy, affordable weekday lunches available on site to residents.
