The New York State Homeowner’s Assistance Fund (NYS HAF) is a federally funded program dedicated to assisting homeowners who are at risk of default, foreclosure or displacement as a result of financial hardship caused by the COVID-19 pandemic.

The NYS HAF program has limited funds. Connect with a counselor today to be reviewed for eligibility. Applications will begin to be accepted 1/3/22.

We are offering a virtual NYS HAF information session twice a week for the month of December 2021. Participants remain anonymous from one another for privacy and confidentiality.  Sign up for our next session here, call 884-2358 x330, or message us below.

These services are funded by the New York State Office of the Attorney General Homeowner Protection Program, as well as Erie County, the City of Buffalo, and the Towns of Amherst and Hamburg through the CARES Act Community Development Block Grant (CDBG).  Additionally, we partner with the Towns of Cheektowaga and Tonawanda to help administer the New York State Abandoned Property Neighborhood Relief Act.  Contact us to learn more!
